Mystic Storm – From the Ancient Chaos

The LP version of Mystic Storm’s highly anticipiated debut album Из хаоса древних времен (From the Ancient Chaos) is finally here!

Mystic Storm hails from St. Petersburg, Russia, and plays a unique style of thrash mixed up with ultra heavy Bolt Thrower riffs, powerful vocals and wild speed metal melodies. The lyrics mostly concern leather-clad barbarian warriors and ancient evils from the world of Robert E. Howard and are sung in the Russian language. Musically traces can be heard of Manowar, Heavy Load, Candlemass, Vio-Lence, Sentinel Beast, Bathory and Immortal – but all mixed up in a fresh new way. This might be the best underground album to surface during 2021. Limited to 400 copies on black vinyl and 99 copies on transparent red vinyl. Already selling fast as a shark so be quick or be dead!

Shipping will start around October 25 so that you will hopefully have the record by Hallow’s Eve!

Out Now: Hypnosia – Extreme Hatred

Jawbreaker Records are proud to present the first ever official tape version of Hypnosia – Extreme Hatred.

This ground-breaking thrash album was originally released back in 2000, but has never before been released on cassette. Features Cab Castervall (later in Portrait and Dreadful Fate), Hampus Klang (Bullet, Birdflesh) and Mike Sjöstrand (one of the best and fastest drummers in Swedish metal history – R.I.P.).

Limited to 100 copies on Extreme Yellow tape + 200 copies on Hateful Red tape. Comes with detailed liner notes about all the songs from frontman and mastermind Cab Castervall! Recommended for fans of Sadus, Dark Angel, Artillery, Sabbat, early Kreator etc.

Out Now: Rising and Savaged

Yesterday two heavy parcels arrived under the cloak of darkness to the Jawbreaker HQ. These contained two new Jawbreaker cassette releases: Rising, a Swedish heavy metal band from the 80’s, and Savaged, a brand new heavy metal act from Spain. Many of you have already pre-ordered one or both of these tapes, but there are still a few copies left of each. To those that have already pre-ordered: shipping will begin next week, but due to the extremely high amount of pre-orders (thanks jawbreakers for defending the faith!), it might take a while so have patience. Rock hard ride free!

Savaged – Knights of Metal

The debut cassette single from Spain’s newest rock stars; Savaged. Two tracks of fast and catchy heavy metal. Limited to 100 copies (30 copies on Knightly White tape and 70 copies on Heavy Metal Red tape).

Rising – Long Way Tour: Live in Sweden 1983

Formed in 1980, Rising from Vänersborg is one of the forgotten gems from the golden era of Swedish Heavy Metal. The band never released any full-length album, but managed to deliver an onslaught of demo tapes and 7″ singles throughout the 80’s.

In 1983, the band organized their first full tour, and the final show in their home town was recorded professionally. These recordings have only been collecting dust until now, but thanks to this high caliber tape from Jawbreaker Records the world will finally have the chance to hear this live concert for the first time!

This must-have tape of pure live Swedish Heavy Metal also comes with liner notes from original drummer Lars Berger. Limited to 200 copies, 50 on silver tape (sold out) and 150 on black tape.

Guilliotino tapes out now!

Finally the Guilliotino tapes have arrived!

The mail-man with the Iron Maiden tattoos who delivered the tapes to the Jawbreaker HQ got the first copy, all remaining pre-orders will be shipped on Monday morning at 09:00. So the special pre-order discount will be valid until then – hurry up and order, be quick or be dead.

The Mystic Storm tapes arrived already last week, so those are available for shipping as well. Well met Jawbreakers and stay true out there!

Jawbreaker’s first LP release out soon!

I’m very excited to announce that the very first LP release on Jawbreaker Records will be coming later this year. The band in question is no other than St.Petersburg’s own MYSTIC STORM – a heavy, thrashing, furious and razor sharp metal assault.

Pile of Death out now

The 25th release from Jawbreaker Records is here, and this time it is a co-release together with Undforcer Records from Småland.

Pile of Death plays old school thrashing death metal and hails from Småland, Sweden.

Limited to 100 copies, 50 copies on brown tape only available from Jawbreaker Records and 50 copies on smoky tape only available from Undforcer Records.

New editions of Mindless Sinner tapes out now!

After have being sold out for a long time, both of the groundbreaking 80’s releases by Swedish Heavy Metal legends Mindless Sinner are now back in improved cassette editions on Jawbreaker Records.

The releases in question are of course the Master of Evil EP from 1983 and the debut album Turn on the Power from 1986. Both have gotten a new layout since the first Jawbreaker version and the dark colour theme will look great next to the first edition if you already have it in your collection. Like before, Master of Evil comes with six bonus tracks and Turn on the Power comes with nine (!) alternative recordings and rare demo songs. What is new this time is that the bonus tracks on Master of Evil have been re-mixed specifically for this new tape version (well, to be honest the first edition were supposed to have this mix as well… but due to the alien factor it was the original mix that ended up on the tape). These new versions really makes the songs shine, and you can here some cool details which where previously not audible (like on the outro to We All Go Back).

Armory – The Search

After being delayed for just a few years, JAW-022 is finally approaching our solar system! In its cargo holds is the new tape version of Armory‘s second album The Search, previously only released in a small quantity in North America by Hoove Child Records (now sold out).

The Search was originally released on LP and CD by High Roller Records in 2018. Now it will be officially available on cassette for the first time ever in Europe.

Limited to 300 copies, 100 on silver tape and 200 on clear blue tape.
